Privacy Policy
How Wolldi collects, uses, retains, and protects information.
Effective date: August 30, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains how Wolldi (the “Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you search for products, save items, manage an account, or follow a link to a third-party merchant. Wolldi is a product discovery and comparison service. It does not currently process checkout, payment-card, billing, or shipping information.
Information we collect
- Search and account information. Search conversations, saved products, display settings, a random session identifier, and, if you choose an account method, the authentication records needed to provide that account. Search history and saved notes are encrypted at rest.
- Usage and device information. Limited events such as searches, product impressions, opens, clicks, page type, scroll depth, and performance timing. Our first-party analytics are designed not to store an IP address, User-Agent string, or the full text of a search in the event log.
- Information you provide. Content you submit through available forms and communications, including a privacy request.
- Affiliate interactions. When you follow a merchant link, the merchant and its affiliate network may receive the destination product, referral parameters, and ordinary browser request information under their own privacy policies.
Why we use information
We use information to provide search, saved items, account continuity, fraud and abuse prevention, security, debugging, aggregate measurement, legal compliance, and service improvement. We do not use the text of your searches for third-party advertising.
Cookies and analytics
The Site uses necessary local storage and a first-party session cookie to keep your preferences, history, and account session working. Optional third-party analytics does not load unless it is enabled by the operator and, when consent is required by configuration, you choose “Agree.” You can change that choice on the Your Privacy Choices page. See the Cookie Policy for details.
How information is disclosed
We may disclose information to service providers that operate hosting, security, authentication, analytics, or support functions under appropriate restrictions; to merchants when you intentionally follow their links; to comply with valid legal process; to protect users, the Site, or legal rights; or in connection with a business transaction subject to appropriate safeguards. We do not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including security, dispute resolution, and legal obligations. The Site applies access controls, encrypted storage for search history and saved notes, request-size limits, rate controls, content sanitization, and browser security policies. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
U.S. state privacy rights
Depending on where you live and whether an applicable law covers the Site, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct inaccuracies, delete information, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and appeal a denied request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Submit a request through Your Privacy Choices. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authorization and direct verification from the consumer.
Children
The Site is a general-audience service and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child under 13. If you believe a child provided personal information, use the privacy request process so we can investigate and delete it as required.
Changes and contact
We will post changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will receive additional notice when required. For privacy questions or requests, use Your Privacy Choices.
